4 months to go!

Well there are only four months to go until I am 30.  It seems that time has gone by so much faster than I ever imagined it would.

1.  Obtain secure employment that fulfills my passion for early childhood and special education

2. Have my graduate thesis in the final stages and ready for review in January 2011.

3. Be financially secure with all debts paid in full (I was right there until I decided to quit my job).

4. Obtain health insurance and manage my short and long term health

5. To make a significant change in lifestyles that promotes health and activity

6. Volunteer with one organization

7. Develop a photography portfolio

8. Speak to small/large groups at least 3 times

9. Begin advocating for Early Childhood Education awareness in Katy, TX
***Well, this is not really relevant anymore.  I am working towards building my reputation where I am.  It may be a few years before I can honestly say I'm actively making a difference as it is a more competitive market where I am.  However; I am working on it!

10. Continually work through my issues with social anxiety.
***I think this will be ongoing for the rest of my life.  I don't think there will ever be a time when I won't think about it first.  However; I do feel I have made significant steps this year so far!

11. Host at least 2 Pampered Chef parties a month
*With all the changes this has been a challenge.  I'd like to get it moving though!

12. Sing at a karaoke bar

13. Go on a first date (I have not been on a first date since 1997)

14. Spend a weekend at the Beach
Hmmm...does a day count?  Nah...I'll keep that one open.

15. Go dancing

16. Give an anonymous gift

17. Complete 275 acts of kindness (1 a day until my birthday)

18. Win something
*Ironically, I have NEVER been one to win anything and the last few conferences I have been at I have won the door prize!  How funny...can we say it is all in the expectation!

19. Acquire 3 new skills
**This is harder than you would think!

20. Buy a new car

21. Hang SOMETHING on the walls.
***I am leaving this open for now.  I have hung a few things on the wall, but only in my room.  :)
