I will turn 30 this October. I refuse to be a woman who claims 29 for the next 10-15 years. I have lived to much life and experienced too much not to claim every last year. However; I must admit that over my last 29 years, I have held back. So, before I turn 30 I am making it my mission to play a little catch up. I'm sure that I will make edits to the list over the next year, but here is my starting point:
1. Obtain secure employment that fulfills my passion for early childhood and special education
2. Have my graduate thesis in the final stages and ready for review in January 2011.
3. Be financially secure with all debts paid in full (I was right there until I decided to quit my job).
4. Obtain health insurance and manage my short and long term health
5. To make a significant change in lifestyles that promotes health and activity
6. Volunteer with one organization
7. Develop a photography portfolio
8. Speak to small/large groups at least 3 times
9. Begin advocating for Early Childhood Education awareness in Katy, TX
10. Continually work through my issues with social anxiety.
11. Host at least 2 Pampered Chef parties a month
****
11. Sing at a karaoke bar
12. Go on a first date (I have not been on a first date since 1997)
13. Spend a weekend at the Beach
14. Go dancing
15. Give an anonymous gift
16. Complete 275 acts of kindness (1 a day until my birthday)
17. Win something
18. Acquire 3 new skills
19. Buy a new car
20. Hang SOMETHING on the walls.
Gosh dang. Be proud of yourself if you accomplish at least 4 of those! I admire your enthusiasm.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping! PUtting it in writing certainly develops a certain sense of responsibility to give it my all!
